Last year with the 86 campaign, Y St-ers rocked the project scene collecting surveys, pledge cards, and videos. Based on feedback from your Y St. Leadership Team, we’re bringing back the Video Testimonial Measure of Progress!
At the Blacksburg Car Smash, we tested out the Video Testimonials for the Meltdown campaign. Y St-ers brought video cameras and filmed people sharing their opinions about Camel’s marketing and about the new smokeless and dissolvable products. Well, the videos turned out awesome and we want more!
When you sign up for the Meltdown Activism Project, you’ll have three options for Measures of Progress: Surveys, Message Stickers, and Videos. You can collect just one kind, or mix and match---it’s up to you (just make sure your project equals at least 60 MOP points; video testimonials are worth 4 points each). You can do all three at the same time: survey a person, get him/her to write a message sticker AND film a video testimonial!
When you choose the Video MOP, we’ll send you a Video Guide to help you get good quality testimonials from the people you get on tape. Also, you’ll get a Video Form for people to sign. Use a digital video camera or digital camera with video capabilities for filming. When you’re done, just follow the instructions in Helix to upload your clips to youtube!
We hope you’re as excited about the new MOP as we are! Sign up today and start filming!

| I already have some great videos, two from teachers. This is such a great project. Most of my project day respondents were hesitant to go on film, so I would say that is the only setback involved. - Corey Howell |

| Wow, I think this is SUCH a great idea, because you can spread the word in three different ways all at once! And, it gets other people involved in the process :) - Judy Hou |
