Y St. is Virginia’s largest youth-led movement that advocates for healthier lifestyles for youth and adults and funded by the Virginia Foundation for Healthy Youth. The Y St. Mini-Grants program was launched in 2008 to recruit Y St. members from all over the state. Mini-Grant recipients receive $2,000 while simultaneously tackling important issues for Virginia’s health. School-based and community-based organizations located in Virginia that work with teenagers are encouraged to apply to become part of this statewide movement.

Equipped with knowledge and passion, Y St. members complete fun projects that make a difference, build leadership and communication skills, and promote a healthy Virginia. The $2,000 earned through the Y St. Mini-Grant Program can be used for whatever your club/organization needs - it is entirely up to you.
